Data Engineer Level 1

Proficiencies and Qualifications:

Expertise in advanced T-SQL, including complex queries, optimization techniques, and performance tuning.

A minimum of two years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server versions 2005, 2008, 2016, and later versions (preferred).

Proficient in the design, implementation, and optimization of views, triggers, stored procedures, and functions in SOL

Strong background in relational database architecture, development, and performance optimization, with experience in handling large-scale databases.

Deep understanding of Ce programming and .NET technologies, with experience integrating SQL with other

enterprise solutions.

Familiarity with database version control tools and deployment automation processes.

Proficient in database security practices and implementing best practices for data integrity and backup strategies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science ora closely related field, with a preference for candidates holding advanced certifications in database management or cloud platforms jeg. Azure, AWS).

Responsibilities:

Lead the development of comprehensive migration strategies, ensuring high availability, minimal downtime, and data consistency during the transfer process.

Troubleshoot complex migration issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve critical problems efficiently and effectively.

Configure, deploy, and manage migration tracking systems, ensuring all milestones and tasks are tracked and executed within project timelines.

Develop and optimize SQL code for data migration, integration, and client-specific requirements, supporting seamless upgrades and platform transitions.

Oversee data ingestion and reconciliation processes, ensuring the quality, accuracy, and integrity of migrated data while working closely with Technical Specialists to resolve any discrepancies.

Implement data validation procedures to ensure that all transferred data adheres to established standards and business requirements.

Facilitate client meetings and provide ongoing support to ensure the migration process is on track, addressing any technical challenges or changes in requirements.

Monitor and assess migration progress, producing detailed reports and documentation for clients and internal teams to ensure transparency and alignment on project objectives.

Evaluate and incorporate new technologies or methodologies to improve migration efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
