Applications on plain paper are invited from the eligible and motivated candidates fora position of a Junior
Research Fellow (JRF) and a Technical Assistant for a period of three years to work on the project titled
“ldentifying current and future GLOF risk over contrasting topographic and climaticzones of Indian Himala-
ya using earth observation data and modeling’sanctioned by MoES, Govt, of India in favour of Dr.lrfan Rashid,
Assistant Professor, Department of Geoinformatics, University of Kashmir, Srinagar. The positions are tem-
porary and co-terminus with the project.

Desirable: Candidates with NET/SET/GATE and working experience in the fieldof
gryosphere studies/glaciology shall be preferred.
