ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE

Director Horticulture Kashmir invites applications for the contractual engagement of candidates for various positions under the Jammu and Kashmir Competitiveness Improvement of Agriculture and Allied Sectors Project (JKCIP).

The selected candidates will be stationed at the Directorate of Horticulture, Rajbagh, Srinagar, and will be responsible for implementing the programme within the horticulture sector in the Kashmir Division.

The engagement shall be purely on a contractual basis, under the Individual Consultant Selection (ICS) method, initially for a period of one year. The contract may be extended annually, based on performance, for the duration of the project.

Minimum Qualification

Graduate in Commerce, Business, Finance or Management from a recognized university/college

Finance Officer

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce andaccounting from a recognized university/college

Gender and Youth Officer

Postgraduate Degreein Social Work/Gender or related field from a recognized university/college.

Manager MIS and IT

Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Bectronicsand Communication Engineering or a related field from a recognized University/College

Experience

Salary

Post qualification, minimum 5 years of demonstrated managerial experience in procurement in the organization with complete

understanding and experience on national procurement procedure. Minimum of one year experience in handling project procurement in an extemally aided project.

Rs. 0.80 lac per month

3-5 years of experience in financial accounting of projects/company for candidates with post-graduation in commerce and accounting and 5-7years’ experience for candidates with graduation in commerce and accounting.

Computer literacy and proficiency in Tally or other accounting software and use of spread sheets

Good knowledge of accounting.

Working knowledge of audit requirements for financial compliance.

3-5 years of relevant experience in implementing gender and youth-related interventions.

Experience in community mobilization process, empowerment tools and working knowledge of UT-level policies.

Good understanding and experience of working on gender, youth, rural poverty reduction and indusion of marginalized groups.

2-3 years’ experience in software development.

Should have a sound knowledge of RDBMS and software development life cyde.

Knowledge of ASP.Net, Windows applications, CSS, HTML, C+, .net, Database (Orade), restful web service for developing service layer. Designing skills of CSS3, HTML 5.0 and knowledge of other design frameworks will add advantage.

Strong inter-personal and communication skills.

Experience in working with team and team building spirit. Knowledge of Test-driven development and unit testing. Ability to leam business processes quiddy and provides technical solutions.

At least 3 years of professional work experience in computer programming using ASP.Net, ASP.Net MVC, C#.net, Orade database. Must have working experience in working with Govemment web-based software
