Online applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the engagement against the post (Technical Assistant/Technician (Laboratory Technician) on “Aca-
demic Arrangement Basis” in terms of 50-364 of 2020, dated: 27-11-2020, initially for a period of one year or till the selection/promotion is made in accordance with
the recruitment rules, governing the respective posts, whichever is earlier.

Technical Assistant/Tech-09 nician (laboratory Techni- cian)
The candidates are advised to go through our web portal www.gmcbaramulla.com” and fill up their applications as per the prescribed format from 02-12-2023 to
15-12-2023 against application fee of Rs.300/=. Nature of engagement The engagement against the advertised posts shall be purely on Academic Arrangement basis only without conferment of any right for regular appointment against these posts.
Period
For a period of one year extendable up to maximum of six years (on yearly basis subject to the satisfactory performance) or till the selection made by the competent authority on regular basis whichever is earlier.
Salary
is The engagee shall be paid salary in the minimum of pay scale in accordance with S.0364 dated 27-11-2020
Agreement
The selected candidates shall have to enter into an agreement with this institution to the effect that they will not leave the job before the completion of one year contract. Abandoning/termination of the agreement as the case may be will require one month’s prior notice failing which the salary will not be paid for one month to the incumbent which shall always remain in deposit with the department shall be released on completion of term.
Age
The age of the applicant at the time of application form must not be vii) Below 18 years and viii) Above 65 years
Note:
The selected candidates must be in possession of all required documents at the time of document verification and no document/certificate issued beyond the cut-off date shall be accepted/entertained.
The appointment under these rules shall not entitle the appointee to any claim for regular appointment.
Further, the appointment on academic arrangement basis shall by itself stand terminated on the attainment of 65 years of age by the appointee.
The academic arrangement shall cease on joining of regular appointed candidates selected and posted by the competent authority on regular basis.
The selected candidates shall have to enter into an arrangement that they will not leave the institution before the completion of one-year contract. Abandoning/
terminating of the arrangement as the case may be, will require one month’s prior notice foiling which the salary shall not be paid for one month to the incumbent
which shall always remain in deposit with the department and will be released on completion of terms & conditions
In-service candidate are not eligible
Administration of GMC Baramulla reserves the right to increase or decrease the above-mentioned No. of vacancies listed against each post at any point of time during
recruitment process without prior information to the candidates.
