Applications are invited from the eligible candidates of Rajouri district for the post of "PEER

EDUCATOR for Treatment Centre under National Viral Hepatitis Control Programme (NVHCP) at Govt. Medical

Colege, Rajouri.

The application with supporting documents should reach in the office of Principal GMC Rajouri

by hand only and before 01/03/2022 (Time i.e from 10 am to 04 pm). This is to ensure Ist hand scrutiny

of documents, Mr Mohinder Kumar, Junior Assistant, GMC, Rajouri shall collect the Application Forms.

No other mode of submission of documents (via E-mail, speed post etc) shall be entertained.

Role and responsibility of Peer Educator:

1. Candidate has to work under the guidance and supervision of Nodal Officer MO of

Treatment Centre and be the first interface with the patient at centre.

2. Ensure entries in the visiting register.

3. Be a Peer Educator for patients at centre and provide psycho-social support to newly

registered patients.

4. Provide assistance to patients enrolled at the centre, within the Hospital (OPD and IPD)

5. Discuss the importance of adherence to treatment and need of load at 12 weeks post

treatment (SVR) with the patients. Keep track of drug adherence of patients, counse!lling

them on the importonce of regularity of visits and timely investigations.

6. Follow up the patients and assist in patient retrieval, where necessary and as far as

possible.

7. Any other duty related to the initiative assigned by nodal officer /MO or NVHCP state

level.

8. Reporting/uploading of Data on NVHCP portal.

Terms & Conditions

1) The Candidate must bea resident of district Rajouri in UT of J&K

7) The contractual hiring shall not confer any right on the candidate to claim extension or benefits of

8) The age of fresh applicants applying for any of the post should be 18-60 years.

9) The candidate shall have to report within 07 days from the date of issuance of selection list, along with

the requisite original documents tor further verification process tailing wnich his/her appointment shall

automatically be treated as cancelled.

10) The candidate shall have to execute a contract agreement with the Principal GMC, Rajouri that he/she

shall not claim for any regular appointment/extension in the department.

The applicants shall submit the dully filled application form in the prescribed format

alongwith the following self attested documents:

1) Relevant essential qualification certificate including marks cards and degree/diploma.

2) CGPA to percentage calculation document must be attached, if final marks are in grades.

3) Domicile Certificate

4) Medical Certificate of Hepatitis-8/ Hepatitis- C

5) Medical fitness Certificate.

6) Affidavit of no claim for service in NHM from first Class Judicial Magistrate (at the time of joining).

7) Matriculation Certificate/ Date of birth certificate.

8) One passport size photograph attested by Gazetted Officer to be affixed on the application form.
