Pursuant to the approval conveyed by the Health & Medical Education

Department vide letter No. ME-Gztd/42/2022 (e-office) Dated. 21-02-2022, applications

on the prescribed format are invited from the eligible candidates, (Not in Service/Non-

PSC), of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for engagement against the

following Faculty posts (Discipline specified against each) on Academic Arrangement

basis under S.0. 364 of 2020 Dated. 27-11-2020, for a period of one year, or till such

time posts are filled up by the competent authority on regular basis in terms of existing

J&K Medical Education (Gazetted) Recruitment Rules 1979, and SRO. 88 of 2016

Dated.14.03.2016, whichever happens earlier:

i) DNB (Medical Oncology) from a Multi-

teaching Institution/Hospital, having at least 500 bed

strength, duly recognized by Medical Council of

Where DNB (Medical Oncology) has not been done

from a 500 Bedded Institution/Hospital, the candidate

shall have additional one year Senior Residency or

equivalent experience from an Institution/Hospital duly

recognized by Medical Council of India/NMC.

Teaching experience

The applicant must have worked as a Professor or as a

Associate Professor for a period of three years in any

Medical College/lnstitute recognized by the Medical Council

of India/National Medical Commission with minimum four

(04) Research Publications indexed in National Journals

accepted/published as first/second author, out of which

minimum two Research Publications must have been

published during the tenure of the Associate Professor.
