Advertisement for Engagement of Non-Gazetted (Technical) Staff on Academic Arrangement Basis as per S.O. 364 of 2020, Dated 27-11-2020 in various departments of Government Medical College Handwara

Advertisement Notice No: 05-NG(GMCH) of 2025 Dated: 24-04-2025

In pursuance of Government Order No. 307-JK(HME) of 2022 dated 18-05-2022 regarding the creation of posts for the establishment of Government Medical College, Handwara, and in terms of 5.0. 364 of 2020 dated 27-11-2020, applications on the prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for engagement against Non-Gazetted (Technical) posts on an Academic Arrangement Basis.

The initial engagement shall be for a period of one (01) year, which may be extended up to a maximum of six years, subject to satisfactory performance, conduct, and availability of posts, or until regular selection/promotion is made, whichever is earlier.

Mode of Applying

Application Form: Available in downloads on the official website of Govt Medical College Handwara: https://www.gmchandwara.co.in.

Submission: Duly filled application form along with all requisite documents and a Demand Draft of ₹500 (Rupees Five Hundred only), drawn from J&K Bank in favour of Principal, Govemment Medical College Handwara, must be submitted personally at the office of Registrar Academics, Govt Medical College Handwara.

Mode of Selection:

Last Date for Submission: 08-05-2025 (up to 3:00 PM)

If the number of applicants exceeds the number of advertised posts, the selection shall be based only on a written test. Any changes in the selection criteria or mode

shall be notified separately on the official website.

Terms and Conditions:

The upper age limit for applicants is 63 years as on the date of this notice.

The appointment is purely on an academic arrangement basis and shall not confer any right to regular appointment.

7. Submission of false or misleading information will lead to cancellation of candidature and debarment from applying for a period of two years.

The arrangement shall cease immediately upon the joining of regularly selected candidates by the competent authority. Among candidates selected in a single order, the one with lower merit shall be relieved first. However, for candidates selected through different orders, the one who was selected earlier shall be disengaged first.

Selected candidates shall submit an affidavit at the time of joining, stating they will not leave the institution before completing the one-year

contractual term.

In-service candidates are not eligible to apply.

Govt Medical College Handwara reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of advertised posts at any time during the recruitment process without prior notice.
