Advertisement Notification

Applications on prescribed proforma are invited from the citizens of

India, for the position of Chairman, and Member(s) in the Jammu and

Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations.

|1. Number of Posts:

The number of posts to be filled up shall be as under:

Chairman 01

Gi) Member(s) as may be determined by the Government

2. Remuneration:

The Chairman and Member(s) shall receive salary/ allowances and

facilities as per their entitlement.

Upper Age Limit:

Age of the candidate(s) as on 1st January, 2022 shall not exceed

62 years and shall not be subject to any relaxation.





Term of Office:

The appointment of the candidate as Chairman or Member(s) shall

be made on tenure basis up to a maximum of two years and the can-

didate shall be eligible for re-appointment for another such term o

until he/she attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.

5. Essential Minimum qualification and experience:

A candidate shall be eligible for consideration for selection/ appoint-

ment only if he/she possesses the following qualification/ experi

ence:

a)

"an academician or educationist of high repute having served for not

less than 25 years or a person who holds or has held the post of a

Secretary to Government or equivalent'

b)

"an academician of repute having served in the Union territory of

Jammu and Kashmir for not less than 20 years or a person having

served as Special Secretary to the Government or against equivalent

post or Professor of a University or a College".

How to Apply:

Applications duly completed in all respects and accompanied with

the documentary evidence, on the prescribed proforma, shall be

submitted either through email: [email protected]

or in person (hardcopy) in the office of Principal Secretary to the

Government, General Administration Department, Civil Secretariat,

Jammu/ Srinagar by or before the notified cutoff date.

i) Recommendations made by a Government Department or any

University or any other recognized autonomous or statutory institu-

tion shall also be treated as applications against the aforemen-

tioned posts. Applications and recommendations shall also contain

the details of the candidates as specified in the advertisement.

Applications received after cutoff date shall not be entertained,
