Recruitment of Group ‘B’ Civilian Personnel-2024
1. Indian Coast Guard invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for filling up the following vacancies through direct recruitment: –

Chargeman General Central Service, Group ‘B’, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial Pay Scale as per 7th Pay Matrix: Level-6

(UR-02, ST-01, OBC-01)
(i) A Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Marine or Electronics Engineering or Production Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution.
Not exceeding 30 years
Chennai, Goa, Tuticorin, Visakhapatnam
(ii) Two years’ experience in the field of hull repair or general engineering and/or in Electrical or Electronics trades.
Note:-
(i) The vacancies shown above are tentative and their location may change as per service require- ment.
(ii) Even if there is no vacancy reserved for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy)/EWS category candidates, such candidates can still apply. However, they will not be eligible for any age and passing marks concession/relaxation etc.
(iii) Applicants, if selected are liable to serve anywhere in India.
(iv) Permissible relaxation in upper age limit is 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC candidates. The Central Govt servants who have rendered not less than 03 years regular service as on closing date for receipt of application shall be permissible for age relaxation of upto 5 years.
(v) The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date of receipt of applications i.e. 15 Dec 2024.
