Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is an Autonomous Organization, under the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. ICMR is dealing with biomedical/ health research in various areas, in collaboration with National/ International agencies, through its Headquarters at New Delhi and 27 Institutes/ Centres and a large number of field stations, situated across the country.

ICMR invites online applications, from Indian Citizens, up to 10th March, 2025 till 5:30 PM to fill up the following vacancies, in Level 14 of Pay Matrix (Rs.1,44,200-2,18,200) (7th CPC Scale) and usual allowances as admissible to ICMR employees for appointment on regular basis under Direct Recruitment with all India transfer liability under the Council:-

Essential Qualification & Experience*

i) Essential Qualification:

MD/MS or equivalent degree recognized by MCI/NMC

MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by MCI/NMC with

MPH from a recognized University

M.Sc. or MBBS or ‘equivalent degree recognized by MCI/NMC’ with Ph.D. from a recognized University in a

subject as given in Annexure-I

ii) Essential Experience*

15 years

5 years in a managerial position and has handled R&D projects independently (viz. Pl or Co-Pl of Scientific studies, Head of Research Groups/ Centres/ Institutes/Laboratories), including experience in Implementation Research and/or Health System Research

And

• 2 years regular service in the Pay matrix level-13-A or equivalent as amended from time to time

i) Essential Qualification:

Director-National Institute of Occupational Health, Ahmedabad (NIOH)

MD/MS or equivalent degree recognized by MCI/NMC

MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by MCI/NMC with

MPH from a recognized University

M.Sc. or MBBS or ‘equivalent degree recognized by MCI/NMC’ with Ph.D. from a recognized University in a

subject as given in Annexure-I
