Subject: Submission of On-line scholarship applications under Post-Matric Scholarship Schemes for students belonging to Schedule

Caste(SCs), Other Backward Classes (OBCS), Economically

Backward Classes (EBCS), Physically Challenged Persons (PCP) &

Denotified Nomadic & Semi Nomadic (DNTS) Categories for the year

2021-2022.

NOTICE

On-line scholarship applications are invited in both Fresh(first time appli-

cant) and Renewal (applicant who got scholarship during 20-21) categories

and from the students pursuing studies within & outside the UT of Jammu

& Kashmir in Government/Government Recognized Educational

Institutions undergoing XI, XII, Diploma, Graduation/Post-Graduation Level

Courses, B.Ed, M.Phil, Ph.D & Professional/Technical Degree Courses at

Under Graduate or Post-Graduate Levels etc. for the following categories:-

1. Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Schedule Caste (PMS-SC)

2. Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Other Backward Classes, (PMS-

OBCS)

3. Dr Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Economically

Backward Classes (EBCS) Government Institution only.

4. Post Matric Scholarship Scheme Physically Challenged students,

(PCPS)

5. Dr Ambedkar Scholarship Post Matric Scheme De-notified Nomadic &

Semi Nomadic Tribes (DNTS)

Online implementation of the above mentioned Scholarship Schemes will

be done through State Portal Scholarship under URL:-https://jk.gov.in/ jke-

services. Only online applications under these Schemes will be accepted

and no request for Offline applications will be entertained.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AVAILING THE SCHOLARSHIP SERVICE:-

1. To avail the Scholarship service a candidate has to log in to URL:-

https://jk.gov.in/jkeservices and before applying for the Service, User has to

register using the Register Link given on the menu.

2. Applicant has to upload the original scanned copies (jpg image) of the

requisite documents of size less than 20kb and the same should be legible.

3 Please select the Role Type (Citizen) while entering login credentials.

4. Please note the Citizen ID after successful registration as it will be

required at the time of availing the service.

5. After login, the applicant has to click on the e-services tab in the left menu

and thereafter click on social welfare and under social welfare click on Post-

Matric Scholarship.

6. Please note the user ID and Password entered by the student during the

registration for subsequent login and uploading of details.

7. Aadhar Number of the applicant has to be filled in the relevant field of the

application.

8. Filling up of Aadhar Seeded Bank Account number in the application form

is mandatory.

9. Students who are already availing scholarship shall fill their Renewal

form.

The value of scholarship as per Govt. norms include maintenance

allowance plus non-refundable fee compulsorily payable by the student,

studying in Government or Government recognized educational Institutions

by the Government/UGC/Board of Technical Education and similar

Statutory Professional Councils of India for recognized, courses.

Documents/information required to be uploaded (Properly legible) by

the applicants:-

1. One passport size photograph.

2. Permanent Residence Certificate /Domicile Certificate.

3. Fee Receipt in original with name of candidate date and class/semester.

4. Self attested Promotion Certificate/ Mark Sheet of previous class/semes-

ter duly sealed and signed by the competent authority.

5. Valid Hosteller Certificate issued by the Institution.

6. Income Certificate:

Parents /Guardians current income certificate, in original, from the con-

cerned Tehsildar (in case of students whose parents/guardians are not

Government employees). In case of wards of Government employees,

salary certificate issued by the concerned Drawing and Disbursing Officers.

(Income certificate with cutting/mutation will lead to rejection of Application

forms.)
