Subject: Advertisement for Engagement of Senior Residents /Registrars /Tutors /Demonstrators on Academic Arrangement Basis under S.O. 364 of 2020 dated 27-11-2020 in various departments of Government Medical College Handwara

Applications, on the prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates, for the posts of Senior Residents /Registrars /Tutors /Demonstrators in the following departments of Govt. Medical College Handwara purely on Academic Arrangement basis under S.O 364 dated 27-11-2020 initially for a period of (01) one-year extendable up to a maximum of 03 years on the basis of their work conduct/performance as reported by the concerned head of the department. Application forms from in-service eligible candidates (PSC) shall be entertained after fulfillment of all pre-requisites, in accordance with relevant rules, as envisaged in the J&K Civil Service rules 1979 and production of NOC from the parent department.

The application form duly filled along with all the requisite documents and a Demand Draft of Rs. 500 (Rupees Five Hundred) only from Jammu Kashmir Bank pledged to Chief Accounts Officer, Govt. Medical College Handwara should be submitted in the office of Registrar Academics, Govt. Medical College, Handwara.

Last date for submission of application forms: 30-09-2025 (up to 3:00 pm)

The selection of the candidates for the advertised posts shall be made strictly as per the selection criteria/policy guidelines for eligibility/selection as laid down in Govt. Order No. 383 JK(HME) of 2024, Dated 20-06-2024 and as per vacancy and sanctioned strength as envisaged in Govt. Order No. 307-JK(HME) of 2022 Dated 18-05-2022.

MBBS Degree and State/NMC Registration Certificate
MD/MS/DNB degree with additional Qualification Registration Certificate (State/NMC)
Marks Certificate of the respective degree especially Marks sheets certificates of each year of MBBS.
Higher Qualification Certificate (Super specialties) (DM/MCH/DNB).
Any other additional qualifying certificate relevant for eligibility to any particular advertised post.
Date of Birth Certificate.
