(1) QUALIFICATIONS AND OTHER ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
“4% of posts shall be reserved for persons with disability (PWD) under horizontal Reservation”.
For the post of Associate Professor Architecture (Academic Level-13A (131400-217100))
(i) B. Arch. or equivalent to B. Arch. and Master’s degree in Architecture or in allied subjects of Architecture with minimum 60% marks at either level.
(ii) Eight years’ experience in teaching/research/professional work, out of which a full time minimum three years teaching experience at Assistant Professor level.
Desirable qualifications:
i) PhD or significant research and professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in appropriate branch of Architecture.
ii) Research experience evidenced by good research publications in refereed journals, dissertations, R&D, books, IPR, patents, research guidance, extramural funding for R&D projects and overall good academic record.
iii) Experience in planning and organizing academic/professional programs.
iv) Experience of having dealt with extramural R&D and consultancy projects from Govt./Industry/Universities.
For the post of Assistant Professor Architecture (Academic Level-10 (57700-182400))
B. Arch, or equivalent to B. Arch. and M. Arch. or Master’s in allied subjects of Architecture with minimum 60% marks at either level and one year of relevant professional experience.
Desirable experience:
i) Ph.D. with academic/research/professional experience.
