University of Carthage Hungarian Scholarships 2026.
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (General Directorate of International Cooperation) announces that, under the memorandum of understanding with the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Hungarian government is offering 250 scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year to Tunisian students. For the 2026–2027 academic year, Hungary has formally launched applications for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program. This government-funded program is accessible for the 2026–2027 cohort until mid-January 2026 and supports full-time bachelor’s, one-tier master’s, master’s, and PhD degrees at public Hungarian institutions.

The University of Carthage (UCAR) is a public university in Tunisia that was founded in 1988 with a focus on research and education. It is operating under the direction of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Students nominated by the University of Carthage now have a clear, fully supported route to further their education in Hungary. These scholarships allow students to pursue higher education at public universities in Hungary under the Stipendium Hungaricum program.
