Applications on plain paper mentioning academic details and research experience are invited from eligible candidates for the engagement of research staff in the SERB-Core Research Grant funded project, “The Role of Extreme Weather Events and Patterns in Shaping Vadose Zone Hydrology in Snow-Dominated Catchments,” under the following position.

The position is initially for a period of one year, extendable for up to two years depending on the candidate’s performance. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Essential qualification

M.Sc. Geology/ Applied Geology

Eligibility

55% marks in M. Sc Applied geology/Geology. Desirable – Candidates with NET/SET and GATE

Expertise in hydrogeology, hydrology, hydrological modelling

Emoluments: As per the SERB guidelines (37000+HRA) for candidates having NET/SET and (31000+HRA) for the candidates without NET or SET
