The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi has released the official notification for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 10. This national-level entrance exam is conducted for the recruitment of Nursing Officers at Level 07 in the Pay Matrix for AIIMS New Delhi and other participating AIIMS across India.

Candidates aspiring to join premier medical institutions as Nursing Officers can find detailed eligibility criteria, age limits, and examination schedules below. The recruitment follows the pre-revised Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600, classified under Group-B services.

Eligibility Criteria and Essential Qualifications

I	a. B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/state Nursing council recognized Institute or University. OR B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing council recognized Institute/ University. b. Registered as Nurses & Midwife with State / Indian Nursing Council.
II	a. Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing council recognized Institute / Board or Council. b. Registered as Nurses & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council. c. Two Years’ Experience in a minimum 50 bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above.

Remarks: The two-year experience for Diploma holders is an essential criterion. This experience must be acquired after obtaining the essential qualification, completing the residency period, declaration of results, and registration with the Nursing Council.

Age Limit and Application Fees

The age limit for all AIIMS is set between 18-30 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per the recruitment rules of the respective institutes/hospitals and general conditions. The age will be calculated based on the last date of the closing of the application form.

Fees for SC/ST candidates who appear in the examination will be refunded after the declaration of results and verification of certificates. Fees once remitted for other categories are non-refundable.
