Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) is a Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. It is engaged in Refining, Storage, Distribution and maintains a vast marketing network across India.

The Marketing Division (All India Locations) proposes to engage Graduate Apprentice Trainees in Engineering disciplines including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation. This engagement is for the year 2026-27 under the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Important Dates & Eligibility

Online applications commence on the HPCL Portal on February 16, 2026. The last date for submitting the online application is March 2, 2026. Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years of age as of March 2, 2026, with age relaxations of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NC, and 10 years for PwBD candidates.

Candidates must hold an Engineering Graduation in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation completed after April 1, 2023. A minimum of 60% aggregate marks is required for UR/OBC-NC, and 50% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. Registration on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS 2.0) portal is mandatory.

Selection Methodology

Applications are screened based on merit percentage according to eligibility criteria. Shortlisted candidates are called for document verification in a 1:5 ratio. A final merit list is prepared from those found suitable during verification, and training is for a period of one year only.
