As part of its expansion and commitment to clean fuel industrialization, GAIL is developing green energy corridors across India to link gas fields and LNG terminals with major consumption hubs. Vacancy Details and Pay Scale

The recruitment is being conducted for the Executive cadre in E-2 grade with a pay scale of 60,000 – 1,80,000/-. A total of 70 vacancies have been announced across various engineering disciplines.

Minimum Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in the relevant disciplines with a minimum of 65% marks. Relaxation of 5% in marks is provided for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates applying against reserved posts.

Eligibility and Age Limit

The upper age limit is 26 years as of 18.03.2026. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC(NCL), and up to 15 years for PwBD candidates depending on their category. Only full-time regular courses from recognized Indian universities are considered.

Candidates who graduated in 2025 or those in their final year (2025-26) are eligible to apply. However, those who completed their degree in 2024 or earlier are not eligible.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2026 (GATE-2026) marks in the corresponding papers: CH (Chemical), IN (Instrumentation), EE (Electrical), and ME (Mechanical). Shortlisted candidates will undergo Group Discussion and/or Personal Interviews.
