The specific Dean positions available are for the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture, and Faculty of Fisheries.

Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates must possess a Doctorate degree in the relevant branch of Agriculture, Veterinary, or allied sciences. A minimum of 15 years of experience in teaching, research, or extension is required, with at least 5 years at the rank of Professor or equivalent.

The age limit for candidates is between 22 and 55 years as of January 1, 2026. This limit may be relaxed for individuals already employed by SKUAST-Kashmir.
