The University of Kashmir, Srinagar, has released Advertisement Notice-VIII for the engagement of Contractual Assistant Professors for the Academic Session-2026. This recruitment is a purely academic arrangement for the Institute of Technology (IOT), Zakura Campus.

Qualified candidates are invited to submit their applications for various engineering and management disciplines. This contractual engagement is specifically designed to meet the teaching requirements for the upcoming academic year at the School of Engineering.

Terms and Conditions

The engagement is purely on a need basis for the academic session 2026. It will terminate at the end of the session or once the position is filled on a substantive basis. Appointees shall have no right to claim for regularization or continuation of services beyond the specified term.

Wages will be fixed based on the qualifications possessed as of the cutoff date for applications. Candidates must ensure they are not working in any other Government, Semi-Government, or private institute at the time of engagement.
