Advertisement for Research Assistant under JKST&IC, DST Project

Applications are invited from motivated, innovative and eligible candidates for the position of Research Assistant (01) to work on the project titled as Traffic Congestion Modelling and Level of Service Analysis for Srinagar City under Heterogeneous Traffic Conditions funded by JKST&IC, DST.

The selected person would work in the project for a period of one year which could be further extendable upon two years depending upon their performance, conduct and project status.

Essential Qualifications

B.Tech in Civil Engineering and M. Tech. in Transportation Engineering or equivalent with minimum 60% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10) to qualify under Open/OBC category and minimum 55% aggregate marks (CGPA≥ 6.0) for candidates under SC/ST category.

Desirable

Prior knowledge of traffic engineering, statistical analysis, report writing etc.

Project Tenure

The appointment will be for one year or end of the project based on performance of the candidate.

Emoluments

20,000/- Per month (consolidated)
