Engagement of Field Investigators

The Department of Economics, Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora, Kashmir will conduct an interview for the engagement of Field Investigators for ICSSR funded project titled “Community-based homestay tourism in Kashmir: Exploring its potential, vulnerabilities, and challenges” under the Vision Viksit Bharat @2047. The engagement will be governed by the following terms and conditions.

Postgraduate in any social science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.

Rs. 20,000 per month (consolidated)

Six months

The shortlisted candidates must report to the Office of the Department of Economics, IUST on 30th December, 2024 at 9:15 AM along with original documents, xerox copies of supporting documents, and a passport size photograph. Desirable skills and experience:

Strong command on data entry using Ms. Excel.

Good academic writing skills.

Other terms and conditions:

The engagement is purely on temporary basis. It can be terminated anytime, without giving prior notice, if the performance of the candidate is not satisfactory. The performance shall be evaluated on monthly basis.

The release of the salary will be subject to the release of funds by the funding agency.

No TA/DA shall be provided to the applicants for appearing in the interview.

The field investigators shall not be provided authorship in the publications from this project.
