Population Research Centre (PRC), University of Kashmir has announced recruitment for various contractual posts. The post is temporary and likely to continue with the continuation of the Population Research Centre at the University of Kashmir, J&K by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

जनसंख्या अनुसंधान केंद्र (पीआरसी), कश्मीर विश्वविद्यालय ने विभिन्न अनुबंधित पदों के लिए भर्ती की घोषणा की है। यह पद स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय द्वारा कश्मीर विश्वविद्यालय में जनसंख्या अनुसंधान केंद्र की निरंतरता के साथ अस्थायी है और जारी रहने की संभावना है।

Applications are invited through online mode and hard copy submission. Candidates can send their applications to the Centre via E-mail: directorprc[at]uok.edu.in.

Age Limit (as per notification):

– 43 years in case of SC/ST-1/ST-2/BA/OBC/EWS/LAC/IB.
– 50 years in case of Substantive In-service State University Employees of the UT of J&K.
– No age bar for in-service candidates of the University of Kashmir.

आयु सीमा: एससी/एसटी-1/एसटी-2/बीए/ओबीसी/ईडब्ल्यूएस/एलएसी/आईबी के मामले में 43 वर्ष। जम्मू-कश्मीर केंद्र शासित प्रदेश के कार्यरत राज्य विश्वविद्यालय कर्मचारियों के लिए 50 वर्ष। कश्मीर विश्वविद्यालय के कार्यरत उम्मीदवारों के लिए कोई आयु सीमा नहीं।

Remuneration & Allowances: In addition to Pay Band/Pay Level, D.A., Medical Allowance, House Rent and other allowances as admissible to the staff of the Population Research Centre is payable to the appointees.

PF/Pension: The appointee is not entitled to GP fund/pension. However, Contributory Provident Fund/NPS/gratuity and leave encashment will be applicable as permissible under rules/guidelines of the Ministry.

Important Instructions:

– No TA/DA shall be paid for appearing in the interview.
– Applications received late or not in proper format shall not be entertained.
– Applications by Government servants should be sent through the Administrative Authority concerned.
– Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
– Impersonation or submission of false documents will lead to criminal prosecution.
– All enclosures should be self attested. Original documents to be produced at interview.
– Interview call letters shall be sent through E-mail/SMS.

Selection Process: Eligible candidates shall have to undergo the process of screening/shortlisting/selection to be determined by the University which shall be notified separately.

चयन प्रक्रिया: पात्र उम्मीदवारों को विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा निर्धारित स्क्रीनिंग/शॉर्टलिस्टिंग/चयन की प्रक्रिया से गुजरना होगा जिसे अलग से अधिसूचित किया जाएगा।

Re-advertisement Notice: The post is being re-advertised due to poor response of eligible candidates in response to earlier advertisement notice dated 27-12-2024. Candidates who have applied earlier need to apply afresh against this advertisement for consideration.
