ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE. Online applications are invited from eligible and interested candidates for the Project Associate-I position available in the research project titled “Metallogenic Potential of the Phanerozoic Ladakh Ophiolites, Indus Suture Zone (ISZ), NW Himalaya.”

The project has been sanctioned by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) Government of India under Advanced Research Grant (ARG) Scheme. The engagement is purely temporary, initially for one year, and may be extended for up to five years, co-terminus with the project, subject to the availability of funding from the ANRF.

इस्लामिक यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ साइंस एंड टेक्नोलॉजी, कश्मीर के आपदा जोखिम न्यूनीकरण केंद्र (Centre for Disaster Risk Reduction) द्वारा विज्ञापन सूचना जारी की गई है। अनुसंधान परियोजना “फैनरोजोइक लद्दाख ओफियोलाइट्स, सिंधु सिवनी क्षेत्र (आईएसजेड), उत्तर-पश्चिम हिमालय की मेटलोगेनिक क्षमता” में प्रोजेक्ट एसोसिएट-I पद के लिए योग्य और इच्छुक उम्मीदवारों से ऑनलाइन आवेदन आमंत्रित किए जाते हैं।

यह परियोजना अनुसंधान नेशनल रिसर्च फाउंडेशन (ANRF), भारत सरकार द्वारा उन्नत अनुसंधान अनुदान (ARG) योजना के तहत स्वीकृत है। यह नियुक्ति पूरी तरह से अस्थायी है, जो शुरू में एक वर्ष के लिए होगी और एएनआरएफ से धन की उपलब्धता के आधार पर परियोजना की समाप्ति तक पांच वर्ष तक बढ़ाई जा सकती है।

Eligibility	Essential qualification: Master’s in Geology/ Applied Geology. Desirable: Candidates having expertise in geochemistry/ petrology will be preferred.
Duration	Initially for One Year, extendable based on performance and subject to the availability of funding from the ANRF.

Date and Time of Interview	Will be displayed on the university website.

Terms and Conditions: 1. The above post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project and the candidates shall not claim for regular appointments in the university. 2. The University reserves the right to terminate the contract of non-performing candidates at any time without prior notice.

3. The salary shall be released subject to the release of funds from the funding agency. 4. Candidates will have to produce hard copy of the application form along with self-attested photocopies of certificates and relevant testimonials/ passport size photograph at the time of appearing in the interview. 5. No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates appearing for the interview. 6. Candidates will have to produce original documents relating to their qualification, experience etc. at the time of appearing in the interview.

7. The University reserves the right to defer/not to fill post advertised here-in-above, without assigning any reason thereof. 8. In case candidate wants to withdraw, he/she must serve one-month notice period (or one-month salary). The terms and conditions governing the service shall be as per the rules & regulations of university and/or funding agency (wherever applicable) with amendments from time to time. 4. साक्षात्कार में शामिल होने के समय उम्मीदवारों को आवेदन पत्र की हार्ड कॉपी के साथ प्रमाणपत्रों की स्व-सत्यापित फोटोकॉपी और प्रासंगिक प्रशंसापत्र/पासपोर्ट आकार का फोटो लाना होगा। 5. साक्षात्कार में शामिल होने वाले उम्मीदवारों को कोई टीए/डीए नहीं दिया जाएगा। 6. साक्षात्कार के समय उम्मीदवारों को अपनी योग्यता, अनुभव आदि से संबंधित मूल दस्तावेज प्रस्तुत करने होंगे।
