Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC) for UT of J&K and UT of Ladakh a statutory body constituted by Ministry of Power invites application from officers under Central Government State Govemments/Union Temtories/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies, for appointment on deputation basis on Foreign Service terms. Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a Govt. recognised Institution/University.

Nature of Experience

Qualifying Service

Mual Mual have h experience in Secreta- Officers under Central Govt State Govt and functioning in the Central Govt State Govts/ Union Territories. Prior expadence & еxромитеe to regulations & infrastructure management will be preferable

scale of Level-12 Union Territories: 1. Holding analogous posts on regular basis, or II. With 5 years regular service in the

Familiarity with the latest technolo-gical development in generation, transmission, distribution, system planning, designing and operation.

Officers under Central Govt State Govt/Union Territories/Public Sector Undertakings/ autonomous bodies:-

L. Holding analogous posts on regular basis; or

MBA (Finance) CA from a Govt recognised Institution University

Must have experience in tariff formulation/Coets Analysis/Finan cial Management

Bachelors Degree in Law from a Govt. recognised Institution University

Graduate Degree from a Govt. recognised Institution University

1. Minimum Graduate from a Govt recognised Institution University.

2. Must be Computer literate, proficient in using MS-Office & making a Power Point Presentation along with working knowledge of MS-Excel.

3. Having prescribed/standard shorthand dictation speed & typing speed on computer.

a) Pay and Allowances and other conditions of service shall be governed by the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for UT of J&K and UT of Ladakh (Recruitment, Control and Service Conditions of Officers and Staff) Regulations, 2024 and m amended from time to time, Copy of the Regulations is available on the JERC

website viz. http://jercjki.nic.in/ b) JERC reserves the right not to fill up the above positions, without assigning any reasons, whatsoever

c) JERC reserves the right to cancel/amend the entire part of this advertisement/recruitment process/condition of recruitment, at any given time, without assigning any reasons, whatsoever.

d) The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation Certificate Date of Birth Certificate issued by a recognized Authority/Board/Council

No other document shall be accepted in lieu thereof for the purpose. e) Candidates may also note that for any lapse/shortfall in submission of application due to any reasons, this Commission will not be responsible

2. Additional terms and conditions are as under

a) The appointment on deputation on foreign services terms shall be made for a period of five years and further extension beyond this period would be done in consultation with the Central Govemment.

b) The application routed through proper channel and submitted in prescribed format shall only be accepted.

c) The age of the candidates shall not exceed 56 years as on the date of the advertisement of the vacancies.

1. Working as Secretariat Staff. 2. Candidates who have been working at least for 5 years an Personal Staff shall be preferred. 3. Reasonably good in spoken and written English well versed with all the duties which a Personal Staff is supposed to discharge.
