The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has released an official notification regarding the Special Scholarship Scheme for the Students of Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh (SSSJKL) under the Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Protsahan (PM-USP) Yojana.

This online registration process for the academic year 2026-27 is specifically open for 10+2 students and engineering diploma holder students only.

अखिल भारतीय तकनीकी शिक्षा परिषद (AICTE) ने प्रधानमंत्री उच्चतर शिक्षा प्रोत्साहन (PM-USP) योजना के तहत जम्मू-कश्मीर और लद्दाख केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के छात्रों के लिए विशेष छात्रवृत्ति योजना (SSSJKL) के संबंध में एक आधिकारिक अधिसूचना जारी की है। शैक्षणिक वर्ष 2026-27 के लिए यह ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण प्रक्रिया विशेष रूप से केवल 10+2 छात्रों और इंजीनियरिंग डिप्लोमा धारक छात्रों के लिए खुली है।

For the HSC stream, students who have passed the 10+2 examination from JKBOSE or CBSE schools located in the UTs of J&K or Ladakh during the academic sessions 2024-25 or 2025-26 are eligible. Eligible streams include General Degree, Professional Degree (Engineering, Nursing, Pharmacy, Hotel Management, Architecture, BA LLB), and Medical/BDS courses. For the Diploma stream, students who passed in the academic year 2025/2026 from the J&K Board of Technical Education are eligible for Lateral Entry Admission into the 2nd year of Engineering.

एचएससी स्ट्रीम के लिए, जिन छात्रों ने शैक्षणिक सत्र 2024-25 या 2025-26 के दौरान जेकेबीओएसई (JKBOSE) या सीबीएसई (CBSE) स्कूलों से 10+2 की परीक्षा पास की है, वे पात्र हैं। पात्र धाराओं में सामान्य डिग्री, व्यावसायिक डिग्री (इंजीनियरिंग, नर्सिंग, फार्मेसी, होटल प्रबंधन, वास्तुकला, बीए एलएलबी) और मेडिकल/बीडीएस पाठ्यक्रम शामिल हैं। डिप्लोमा स्ट्रीम के लिए, जेएंडके बोर्ड ऑफ टेक्निकल एजुकेशन से शैक्षणिक वर्ष 2025/2026 में उत्तीर्ण छात्र इंजीनियरिंग के द्वितीय वर्ष में लेटरल एंट्री प्रवेश के लिए पात्र हैं।

The academic fee provided varies by stream: up to Rs. 30,000 per annum for General Degrees, up to Rs. 1.25 lakh per annum for Professional Degrees and Lateral Entry Engineering, and up to Rs. 3.00 lakh per annum for Medical/BDS courses. Additionally, a maintenance allowance of Rs. 1.00 lakh per annum is provided in ten equal installments through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

प्रदान की जाने वाली शैक्षणिक फीस विभिन्न स्ट्रीम के अनुसार अलग-अलग है: सामान्य डिग्री के लिए प्रति वर्ष 30,000 रुपये तक, व्यावसायिक डिग्री और लेटरल एंट्री इंजीनियरिंग के लिए प्रति वर्ष 1.25 लाख रुपये तक, और मेडिकल/बीडीएस पाठ्यक्रमों के लिए प्रति वर्ष 3.00 लाख रुपये तक। इसके अतिरिक्त, नेशनल स्कॉलरशिप पोर्टल (NSP) के माध्यम से दस समान किश्तों में 1.00 लाख रुपये प्रति वर्ष का रखरखाव भत्ता प्रदान किया जाता है।

Application Procedure & Verification Details (Protected Section)

Online Registration for 10+2 students commences from 16.07.2026, and for Engineering Diploma students, it starts from 17.07.2026. All students must register online through the portal or visit the nearest Facilitation Center. For document verification, students must visit the nearest Facilitation-cum-Document Verification Center (FDVC) from 18.07.2026 onwards.

10+2 छात्रों के लिए ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण 16.07.2026 से और इंजीनियरिंग डिप्लोमा छात्रों के लिए 17.07.2026 से शुरू हो रहा है। सभी छात्रों को पोर्टल के माध्यम से ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण करना होगा या निकटतम सुविधा केंद्र पर जाना होगा। दस्तावेज़ सत्यापन के लिए, छात्रों को 18.07.2026 से निकटतम सुविधा-सह-दस्तावेज़ सत्यापन केंद्र (FDVC) पर जाना होगा।
