Subject: Engagement of Guest Faculty for Chemistry in Government Polytechnic College, Poonch.
The office earlier issued Advertisement Notification No. 03 of 2026 dated 05-09-2026. However, no candidate joined or availed the position of Guest Lecturer in Chemistry. Therefore, this office invites applications from eligible candidates who are domicile of UT of J&K. The engagement is purely on a need basis for Academic Session Nov-Dec 2026.

The application form along with self-attested copies of documents must reach the office of the undersigned. Candidates can submit physically or online. The deadline is 26-09-2026 up to 04:00 PM.
⚖️ Terms & Conditions
A. Nature and Duration of Engagement
- The engagement shall be purely on a need basis for the Session Nov-Dec 2026 only.
- The engagement shall continue till the Director, Skill Development Department, J&K provides regular faculty. The engagement ends on whichever is earlier.
B. Remuneration
- The selected candidates shall be paid at Rs 750/- per hour. However, the maximum limit is Rs 20,000/- per month as per guest lecture norms.
C. Engagement and Undertaking
- The selection committee shall prepare a merit list and engage candidates as per this list. The Director Skill Development Department, J&K further approves this list.
- The selected candidates shall submit an undertaking or affidavit. A First-Class Magistrate must duly authenticate this document before joining. The affidavit must clearly state that the candidate shall not claim continuation or regularization of services after completion of the session. Moreover, the candidate shall follow all rules and regulations of the Institute.
📝 Selection Criteria (Merit List)
The selection committee will prepare the merit list based on the following criteria:

| D. Teaching Experience (Polytechnic Diploma level or Higher Level) – pro-rata basis (01 point for each academic year) | 05 points |
