The School of Biotechnology invites applications for one position of Research Associate-I. Therefore, interested candidates should apply. Moreover, the position is part of a DBT-funded research project. The project title is “Development of genomic resources, elite lines and germplasm conservation of high density rootstocks in apple.”
The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Furthermore, the engagement is initially for one year. Additionally, the school may extend it based on the candidate’s progress. However, the extension remains co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
Candidates must submit their applications to the School of Biotechnology office. Furthermore, they must submit within 15 days from the date of publication. Additionally, the applications must be complete in all respects. Moreover, candidates should submit them in a sealed envelope. The envelope should be marked “Application for DBT-Project on Apple”.
1. Master’s Degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks in Biotechnology/Agricultural Biotechnology/Botany/Plant Sciences from a recognized University/Institution.
2. Ph.D. degree in any of the above-mentioned subjects from a recognized University/Institution.
Experience in Plant Biotechnology / Genetic Transformation evidenced by research publications in reputed journals.
The school will inform eligible candidates about the interview date via email or mobile number. Furthermore, all applicants must bring their original documents on the interview date. Additionally, the school will not provide any TA/DA for appearing in the interview.
