Department of Remote Sensing & GIS, University of Jammu (NAAC Accredited A++ Grade University) has released an Advertisement Notice (DIP/J-2399-P) inviting applications from Indian nationals for the position of Junior Project Fellow (JPF) in a National Mission on Himalayan Studies (NMHS) funded research project titled “Assessment of glacier-climate functional relationships across the Indian Himalayan region through long-term network observations”.

The recruitment is for 01 (One) Junior Project Fellow position with an age limit of 28 years (relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Women/Physically handicapped as per Govt. of India rules). Essential qualification is a Post Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences/ Environmental Sciences or Graduate Degree in Professional courses. Monthly emoluments are Rs. 24,000/- + 18% HRA, with engagement duration upto 29th of March 2027 or till completion of the project.
भर्ती 01 (एक) जूनियर प्रोजेक्ट फेलो पद के लिए है, जिसमें अधिकतम आयु सीमा 28 वर्ष है (भारत सरकार के नियमों के अनुसार एससी/एसटी/ओबीसी/ईडब्ल्यूएस/महिलाओं/दिव्यांगों के लिए आयु सीमा में छूट लागू)। आवश्यक योग्यता बुनियादी विज्ञान/पर्यावरण विज्ञान में स्नातकोत्तर डिग्री या व्यावसायिक पाठ्यक्रमों में स्नातक डिग्री है। मासिक परिलब्धियां रु 24,000/- + 18% एचआरए हैं, जिसकी जुड़ाव अवधि 29 मार्च 2027 तक या परियोजना के पूरा होने तक है।
