Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must fulfill the minimum qualifications required as per S.O.-288 dated 18.08.2021 of Health and Medical Education Department read with S.O. 364 of 2020 dated 27.11.2020.
Selection Criteria: Selection shall be made as per Govt. Order No. 282-JK (HME) of 2023 dated 04.04.2023 along with corrigendum dated 06.04.2023 and addendum dated 08.10.2025 across Annexure A (Professor), Annexure B (Associate Professor), and Annexure C (Assistant Professor).
पात्रता और चयन: उम्मीदवारों को स्वास्थ्य और चिकित्सा शिक्षा विभाग के S.O.-288 और S.O. 364 के अनुसार निर्धारित न्यूनतम योग्यता पूरी करनी होगी। चयन सरकार के आदेश संख्या 282-JK (HME) 2023 के मानदंडों के तहत किया जाएगा।
Documents Required & Terms
Self-attested copies of the following documents must be attached with the application form:
- Date of Birth Certificate.
- MBBS Degree & JK Medical Council/MCI Registration Certificate (Medical candidates) / Post-Graduation Degree from UGC recognized University (Non-Medical candidates).
- Post-Graduation Degree & Registration / Doctorate Certificate for Non-Medical candidates.
- Higher Qualification Certificate (DM/MCH/DNB super speciality).
- Experience Certificate issued by Competent Authority/Head of Institution.
- Professional Publications in indexed/national journals, as prescribed.
- Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K.
- Affidavit duly attested by 1st Class Judicial Magistrate stating the applicant is not in active Govt. Service.
Terms and Conditions: Monthly consolidated salary as per S.O.-364 of 2020. Staff engaged shall perform teaching and research duties only without administrative charges. Appointment carries no right for regular appointment and terminates upon attaining 70 years of age (65 years for Dentistry).
