AICTE SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES 2024-25

It is notified for the information of all concerned that the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has invited online applications for PRAGATI, SAKSHAM & SWANTAH Scholarship Schemes for the year 2024-25.

These scholarship schemes will be implemented through the Common National Scholarship web portal of the Government of India and can be accessed at https://www.scholarships.gov.in.

The details of these scholarships are as under:

Eligibility

Name of the Scholarship

1.AICTE-PRAGATI SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR GIRL STUDENTS (Fresh Scholarships)

(i) Students admitted in (AICTE approved institutions & courses) 1st year of Degree/ Diploma level course OR

2nd year of Degree/ Diploma level course through lateral entry.

(ii) Max. two girl child per family.

(iii) Total income of the family should be less than Rs. 8 lakh per annum

Renewal Scholarships

(i) The scholarship will be renewed for the next year of study on receipt of renewal through National Scholarship Portal by submitting passing certificate/marksheet along with letter from the Head of the Institution on the online portal.

2. SAKSHAM SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR SPECIALLY ABLED STUDENT – DEGREE & DIPLOMA

(Fresh Scholarships)

3. SWANATH SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME (DEGREE & DIPLOMA) Fresh Scholarships

Renewal Scholarships

(i) Students admitted in (AICTE approved institutions & courses) 1st year of

Degree/ Diploma level course OR

2nd year of Degree/ Diploma level course through lateral entry.

(ii) Specially-abled student, having disability of not less than 40%.

(iii) Total income of the family should be less than Rs. 8 lakh per annum. (1) Applicant should be an orphan OR either or both parents died due to

Covid-19 OR Wards of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces

martyred in action (Shaheed) (ii) Family income of applicants, family should not more than Rs. 8 Lakh per annum.

(iii) Applicant must have taken admission in degree or diploma course in AICTE Approved institutions

(iv) He/ She must not get any scholarship from other sources. (v)Applicant must have taken admission in regular course.

(i) The scholarship will be renewed for the next year of study on receipt of renewal through NSP by submitting promotion certificate from the Head of the Institution on the NSP portal.

(ii) Student failing to get promoted to the next class/level or those who are not applying in time for the scholarship, would forfeit the scholarship.

Note: Last Date for submission of Hard Copies in the Office of Nodal Officer Scholarships: 31-10-2024

The eligible students are advised to visit https://www.aicte-india.org/ and https://www.scholarships.gov.in for detailed eligibility criteria and other terms and conditions. Students are advised to apply only when they

are sure of meeting the eligibility conditions required for a particular scholarship.

Applications submitted with fake/doubtful details shall be summarily rejected and such students shall be barred from applying in future besides initiative disciplinary action against such students under rules.
