Subject:- Announcement of Minority Scholarships for the year 2022-23.
NOTICE
Itis for the infomation of students/Heads of Schools/Colleges/ Universities that Ministry of Minority Affairs implements three sholarship schemes viz; Pre-matric, Post-
matic and Merit-cum-Means Based Scholarship Schemes for the minorities as Central Sector Schemes through National Scholarship Portal (NSP) of the Govermment of India
and the students can apply under these schemes through URL https://www.scholarships.gov.in or through thelink available on minorityaffairs.gov.in. Scholarship are awarded
under these schemes to the economically weaker and meritorious students from the six centrally notifíied minority communities viz; Buddhist, Christian, Jain, Muslim, Sikh
and Zoroastrian (Parsi) pursuing studies in India in a Government or Govenment recognized private University/College/lnstitute/School.
The Central Government has decided to open the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) on 20th July-2022 for the three scholarshipschemes for 2022-23 as detailed below

All Universities/Colleges/nstitutes/Schools having valid AlISHE/U-DISENCVTISOVT Codes located in the State/UT are advised to register themselves and get the KYC and
Aadhaar bases demographic authentication done at the earliest. They are also advised to get their course details updated on the National Scholarship Portal at the earliest so
that their eligible students can apply and their applications are verified within the stipulated time-line. The time-lines need to be strictly adhered-to.
It has been observed that after the last date of verification a large number of Fresh as well as Renewal applications are left pending for verification at Level-1 ie Institute
Nodal Officer (INO) Level for which al INOs are advised to look into the issue and ensure that no application remains un-verified after the stipulated last dates of veriñcations
during 2022-23.
The Institute Nodal Officer (IN0) will consolidate/scrutinize as per norms online applications submitted by students and verify online applications within the stipulated time
frame through their Institute User Login. The Head of institute(HO)/Institute Nodal offcer(INO0) shall ensure that alleligible students registration under relevant scholarship
scheme and furnish the certificate at the end of scholarship session that no eligible student left out.
