Donghua University DHU Shanghai Government Scholarships SGS 2026.

• Type A (Full Scholarship): Covers full tuition, on-campus accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance, and provides a monthly stipend of CNY 3,500 for doctoral students.

• Type B (Partial Scholarship): Includes a full tuition fee waiver and comprehensive medical insurance. 

• Nationality: Must be a non-Chinese citizen in good health.

• Education: Must hold a master’s degree.

• Age: Must be under 40 years old at the time of application.

• Exclusivity: Applicants must not be receiving any other Chinese government or institutional scholarships. 

1. Register and Apply: Use the Donghua University Admissions Portal to create an account and fill out the degree program application.

1. Select Funding: When completing the online application, you must select “CGS-Category Type B or SGS” under the “Source of Funding” section. Note that a separate application on the official Shanghai Government Scholarship website is not required.

1. Required Documents: You must upload color scans of original documents, including your passport, notarized master’s degree and transcripts, a research proposal, a CV, two recommendation letters from professors, and a Supervision Intention Letter (SIL) signed by a DHU supervisor.

1. Pay Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of CNY 800 must be paid online through the portal for the application to be valid.
