Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India, Bangalore, has issued Notification No. ADA:ADV-138:2026 dated 03/08/2026 for the engagement of Project Assistant-I on a tenure basis. Applications are invited from meritorious Indian Nationals to fill up tentative/anticipated vacancies across various engineering disciplines.

वैमानिकी विकास एजेंसी (ADA), रक्षा मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार, बैंगलोर ने अनुबंध के आधार पर प्रोजेक्ट असिस्टेंट-I के पदों पर भर्ती के लिए अधिसूचना संख्या ADA:ADV-138:2026 दिनांक 03/08/2026 जारी की है। योग्य भारतीय नागरिकों से विभिन्न इंजीनियरिंग शाखाओं में रिक्तियों के लिए ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण आमंत्रित किए जाते हैं।

रिक्तियों और इंजीनियरिंग शाखाओं का विवरण:
कंप्यूटर साइंस (15), इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एंड कम्युनिकेशन (20), एयरोनॉटिकल (10), इलेक्ट्रिकल एंड इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स (20), मैकेनिकल (43), धातुकर्म/मटेरियल साइंस (01), सिविल इंजीनियरिंग (02)। कुल पद: 112।

Educational Qualifications (First Class Required):
Candidates must possess First Class in B.E/B.Tech with valid GATE Score OR M.E/M.Tech from IIT/NIT OR B.Sc+M.Sc with valid GATE/NET Score OR B.E/B.Tech with M.E/M.Tech OR B.E/B.Tech with 2 years relevant experience OR B.Sc+M.Sc with 2 years relevant experience OR First Class B.E/B.Tech.
Stipend & Tenure:

For B.E/B.Tech (First Class) only: Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA as per rules.
For all other qualification criteria: Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA as per rules.
Tenure: Initially 2 years, extendable up to 4 years (1 year at a time) based on performance.

Age Limit: Upper age limit is 28 years as on 13th August 2026 (Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC-NCL as per rules).

शैक्षणिक योग्यता, वजीफा और आयु सीमा:
प्रथम श्रेणी बी.ई/बी.टेक (वैध गेट स्कोर के साथ) या आईआईटी/एनआईटी से एम.ई/एम.टेक या अन्य मान्यता प्राप्त योग्यताएं। मासिक वजीफा: केवल बी.ई/बी.टेक के लिए रु. 31,000/- + एचआरए; अन्य श्रेणियों के लिए रु. 37,000/- + एचआरए। कार्यकाल: प्रारंभिक 2 वर्ष (अधिकतम 4 वर्ष तक विस्तार योग्य)। अधिकतम आयु सीमा: 13 अगस्त 2026 को 28 वर्ष (नियमानुसार छूट लागू)।

Selection Method & Exam Details:
Selection will be done through direct Interview OR shortlisting via Written Test followed by Interview. Written test syllabus will be the same as GATE examination for the respective discipline and will feature negative marking for incorrect answers. Test and Interviews will be held in Bangalore tentatively on 16th, 23rd, or 30th August 2026.

चयन साक्षात्कार या लिखित परीक्षा और साक्षात्कार द्वारा किया जाएगा। लिखित परीक्षा का पाठ्यक्रम गेट (GATE) परीक्षा के समान होगा तथा गलत उत्तरों के लिए ऋणात्मक अंकन होगा। परीक्षा और साक्षात्कार बैंगलोर में आयोजित किए जाएंगे।

APPLICATION PROCEDURE / आवेदन प्रक्रिया:

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria must register online at ada[dot]gov[dot]in on or before 13th August 2026 up to 1700 hrs.

After online registration, candidates must bring the duly filled application form (as per the prescribed format in notification) along with original certificates and self-attested copies of qualification, experience, caste, and Photo ID card (Aadhaar Card) at the time of written test / interview in Bangalore.
