The School Management Committee (SMC), Air Force School Awantipur, invites applications for the posts of Nursery Trained Teachers (NTT) and Helpers (Ayah). The vacancies include both Regular and Contractual positions, depending on the category of the post.

Vacancy Details & Eligibility Criteria
(As per Indian Air Force Education Code 2020)
1. Nursery Trained Teacher (NTT) – 03 Vacancies
Mandatory Qualifications
- Senior Secondary with NTT Diploma OR
- Diploma in Nursery / Montessori / Pre-Primary Teachers Training OR
- Diploma in Elementary Education from a Govt. recognized institution
- Candidates with higher qualifications may apply; however, preference will be given to NTT/Montessori trained candidates
- Age Limit: 21 to 50 years (as on 01 July 2026)
- Language: Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English
Desirable Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of computers (MS Office preferred)
- Ability to read/write/communicate in Hindi
- Experience in art, craft, cartooning, caricature, puppet making, music, dance, etc.
2. Helper / Ayah – 02 Vacancies
Eligibility
- Gender: Only Women candidates
- Education: No specific educational qualification required; selection based on suitability
- Age Limit: 21 to 40 years (as on 01 July 2026)
Age Relaxations (Applicable to Both Posts)
- Women & Physically Challenged: Up to 5 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Period of service in Army/Navy/Air Force will be deducted from actual age; if resultant age does not exceed the limit by more than 3 years, the candidate is eligible
- Air Force School Experience: Candidates with at least 2 years of continuous service in any Air Force School (not currently working) will receive age relaxation equivalent to their service duration
