ENGAGEMENT OF TEMPORARY ASSISTANT PROFESSORS / TEACHING ASSISTANTS
FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2025–26

Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for the temporary engagement of Assistant Professor / Teaching Assistant in the following programmes:

• Physics
• Islamic Studies
• Computer Science Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

The engagement is purely temporary for the Academic Session 2025–26 on consolidated monthly salary of:

• Rs. 30,000/- for Assistant Professor
• Rs. 24,000/- for Teaching Assistant

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

A. For Assistant Professor:

Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from a recognized Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited Indian / Foreign University.
The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC / CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC such as SLET / SET.
Candidates awarded Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations 2009 / 2016 shall be exempted from NET / SLET / SET requirement.

B. For Assistant Professor in Engineering Disciplines:

• M.Tech or M.E. in the relevant subject from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Candidates holding Ph.D. in the relevant subject as per UGC Regulations shall be preferred.
• Candidates not possessing Ph.D., M.Tech or NET / SLET may be considered for engagement as Teaching Assistant if eligible candidates are not available.

• Eligible candidates will be required to appear for interview as per schedule to be notified on the University website.
• No separate call letter will be issued and no TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
