Readvertisement Notice for the engagement of Junior Research Assistant

Project title

Development of Accent Based Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) for Kashmiri Language

Sponsoring agency

J&K Science Technology and Innovation Council (JKSTIC) Department of Science and Technology, Government of J&K

Position title

Junior Research Assistant (JRA)

Nature and Duration

The position is purely temporary in nature and co-terminus with the project. The appointment shall be initially for a period of 12 Months (1 Year) but likely to be extend for 6 Months or till completion of the Project depends upon the performance of the candidate.

The Principal Investigator and Institute reserve the right to terminate the engagement of JRA at any time, if the performance is not satisfactory.

Essential Qualification

1. MCA/M.Sc (CS)/M.Sc (IT) or relevant degree with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or not less than 60%.

2. Μ.Ε./M. Tech in related field; with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or not less than 60%.

Monthly Emoluments

Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand Only)

Option for Registration for PhD

The selected candidate can register for PhD Programme if eligible, as per Institute rules and statutes.
