ROLE-PERFORMANCE TESTER
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Performance Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The Performance Tester will be
responsible for planning, designing, executing, and analysing performance tests to assess the performance, scalability, and reliability
of our software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, tools, and
best practices, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and business stakeholders, to gather performance
requirements and understand system architecture.
Design and develop performance test scenarios and scripts based on performance goals and requirements.
Execute performance tests using industry-standard tools and frameworks, and monitor system behavior during tests to
identify performance bottlenecks,
Memory leaks, and other performance-related issues.
Analyse test results and provide detailed reports with recommendations for performance improvement, capacity planning,
and system optimization.
Work closely with developers and system administrators to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues identified during testing.
Continuously research and stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and methodologies related to performance testing.
Collaborate with the testing team to integrate performance testing into the overall testing strategy and contribute to the
overall quality assurance process
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering.
Proven experience as a Performance Tester or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of performance testing concepts
and methodologies.
In-depth knowledge of performance testing tools JMeter, Locust, and the ability to design and execute performance tests using these tools.
Experience with analysing performance test results and providing recommendations for performance improvement.
Solid understanding of web technologies, protocols, and architectures (HTTP, HTTPS, REST, SOAP, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and diagnose performance issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong attention to detail.
Certifications in performance testing or related areas are a plus.
