About the Recruitment
The Central University of Jammu (CUJ) has released an official notification inviting applications for the post of Research Associate (RA) at the Satish Dhawan Centre for Space Sciences, located within the university campus, Jammu.
The appointment is purely contractual for an initial period of one year, which may be extended up to a maximum of three years or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier, subject to satisfactory performance and periodic review.
This is a valuable opportunity for researchers in the field of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) to work in a high-end research environment associated with space sciences.
Job Details & Eligibility
- Post Name: Research Associate (RA)
- Monthly Fellowship: ₹58,000/- + HRA (as per CUJ norms)
- Essential Qualification:
- Ph.D.
OR - M.Tech./M.E. in relevant discipline
- Ph.D.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- At least one research paper published in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal
- Valid GATE or NET qualification (preferred)

The center focuses on advanced research in satellite communication and space-related electronics, offering researchers exposure to nationally significant projects.
