NOTIFICATION
Empanelment of Guest Faculty (Walk-in Interview)
The Central University of Jammu intends to empanel Guest Faculty in various departments on a purely per-lecture basis.
The qualifications and eligibility shall be as per UGC / AICTE / NCTE guidelines and regulations (as amended from time to time) and the Central Universities Act, 2009.

Eligibility Criteria Overview
Applicants for Guest Faculty positions in Central Universities generally require:
- Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks in the relevant subject
- NET (UGC/CSIR) qualification
Candidates awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations are often exempted from NET.
Honorarium for Guest Faculty
As per prevailing UGC norms, Guest Faculty are usually paid:
- ₹1,500 per lecture, subject to a maximum of ₹50,000 per month
Candidates are advised to refer to the official CUJ notification for department-specific details.
