Pay Matrix & Salary Structure
The posts carry the pay matrix applicable under the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) plus other allowances:
- Associate Professor: Academic Level 13A of the 7th CPC (131400–217100) plus admissible allowances. / एसोसिएट प्रोफेसर: 7वें सीपीसी का अकादमिक स्तर 13A (131400-217100) और स्वीकार्य भत्ते।
- Professor: Academic Level 14 of the 7th CPC (144200–218200) plus admissible allowances. / प्रोफेसर: 7वें सीपीसी का अकादमिक स्तर 14 (144200-218200) और स्वीकार्य भत्ते।
Application Fee
- Candidates belonging to General (UR/OM): Rs. 2000/-. / सामान्य श्रेणी (UR/OM) से संबंधित उम्मीदवार: रु 2000/-।

Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria
PROFESSOR:
- An eminent scholar having a PhD degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, with published work of high quality, and a minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed/UGC listed journals with a total Academic/Research score of 120 as per UGC Regulations, 2018.
- A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in a university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at equivalent level with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidates.
- OR An outstanding professional, having a PhD degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline from any academic institution/industry, who has made significant contributions to knowledge with ten years’ experience.
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR:
- A good academic record, with a PhD Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
- A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
- A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to Assistant Professor with a minimum of seven (07) publications in peer-reviewed/UGC listed journals and a total academic/research score of 75.
