Selection Criteria: The selection shall be based on;

1. Weightage to academic merit in minimum eligible qualification (Le post-graduation) on pro-rata basis 2.Viva Voice 80 points

Tenure of AB Fellows: The tenure of Aspirational Block Fellow will initially for a span of one year, The programs allows for one-year extension of the fellowship, consequent upon the fellow’s satisfactory performance and demonstration of contribu- tion to the programm’s objective

Role & Responsibility of Aspirational Blocks Fellow: The Aspirational Blocks Fellows will be positioned as a critical link between the Block level Officials at NITI Aayog. The Primary responsibilities will include:

Will assist the District and Block administration in implementation of Aspiration Block programme.

Collaborating with Block level officials to design and execute development strategies aligned with ABP thematic Areas ii) Conducting regular field visits to access project implementation address challenges and collect ground level insights to

ensure that the interventions are response to people’s needs and demands. Iv) Analyzing data and providing evidence-based recommendations to District level officials to optimize developmental

vjOrganizing workshops, awareness campaigns, and skill building programmes to empower the local community.

vi ) Keeping states and NITI Aayog abreast with issues, challenges and need for support.

vii ) Help in the documentation of good governance practices. viiijUse the ABP portal to assess the performance of the Block and communicate to all the Block Level Officials.

ixTo attend all the training programmes, conduct by NITI Aayog State Government of District.

x) To send reports at regular intervals to the District collector/District Planning Officer/Block Development Officer/State Nodal Officer/NITI Aayog regarging the performance of the Block,

xi) To work under the overall guidance of the District Colector/District Planning Officer/District level implementation Commit tee Conditions Conditions:

1. This recruitment is purely on contract basis The applicants can’t have any right to claim for continuance in the post and the selected candidates can be terminated from contract without giving any notice even in the middle of the contract Period.

2. The District Development Commissioner, Kulgam reserves the right to cancel this notification, without any prior notice or intimation to the applicant, which can’t be challenged in any court. 3. The applicant shall provide all the requisite original documents at the time of certificates/documents verification in the

selection process. 4. The engaged person does not have the right to claim any TA, DA, or any other allowances, applicable to the Govemment Staff. 5.

The engaged person does not have any right to claim for regularization of their services 6.

The decision of the Interview Board in selecting the Fellow will be final.

7. The District Development Commissioner, Kulgam has the full authority to cancel the deployment of personnel on any ground, which is against the spirit of the Aspirational Block Program guidelines issued by the Government of India. 8. No applications shall be entertained after the last date.

9. The ABP Fellow engaged have to reside in the respective Block Area.
