East Coast Railway (ECoR), Railway Recruitment Cell, Bhubaneswar has released a Centralized Notification for engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2026‑27. The notification number is ECoR/Pers/RRC/Act Apprentice/2026-27.

A total of 1,599 apprenticeship slots are notified for training in designated trades at various Divisions and Workshops under the jurisdiction of East Coast Railway. The engagement is for the year 2026‑27.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) under 10+2 system with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board. Additionally, they must possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade affiliated to NCVT/SCVT. The age should be between 15 and 24 years as on the closing date (15.09.2026). Relaxations: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years, Ex‑Servicemen – 10 years + 3 years.

पात्रता मानदंड: उम्मीदवारों ने मान्यता प्राप्त बोर्ड से 10+2 प्रणाली के तहत न्यूनतम 50% कुल अंकों के साथ मैट्रिक (10वीं) उत्तीर्ण की हो। इसके अलावा, उनके पास NCVT/SCVT से संबद्ध प्रासंगिक ट्रेड में ITI प्रमाणपत्र होना चाहिए। आयु अंतिम तिथि (15.09.2026) को 15 से 24 वर्ष के बीच होनी चाहिए। छूट: SC/ST – 5 वर्ष, OBC – 3 वर्ष, PwBD – 10 वर्ष, पूर्व सैनिक – 10 वर्ष + 3 वर्ष।

Application Fee: ₹100 (non‑refundable) for all candidates except SC/ST/PwBD/Women, who are exempted. Fee must be paid online through the integrated payment gateway (Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI/Internet Banking).

आवेदन शुल्क: SC/ST/PwBD/महिला उम्मीदवारों को छोड़कर सभी के लिए ₹100 (गैर‑वापसीय)। शुल्क एकीकृत भुगतान गेटवे (डेबिट कार्ड/क्रेडिट कार्ड/UPI/इंटरनेट बैंकिंग) के माध्यम से ऑनलाइन भुगतान करना होगा।

How to Apply: Applications must be submitted ONLINE only through the official RRC/BBS website www.rrcbbs.org.in. Candidates must first register and then log in. Only one application is allowed per candidate. Candidates must carefully fill in their personal details, Aadhaar number, marks/CGPA, trade, and choice of Division/Workshop. A printout of the online application must be retained for future reference.

आवेदन कैसे करें: आवेदन केवल ऑनलाइन आधिकारिक RRC/BBS वेबसाइट www.rrcbbs.org.in के माध्यम से जमा किए जाने हैं। उम्मीदवारों को पहले पंजीकरण करना होगा और फिर लॉग इन करना होगा। प्रत्येक उम्मीदवार को केवल एक आवेदन की अनुमति है। उम्मीदवारों को अपना व्यक्तिगत विवरण, आधार संख्या, अंक/CGPA, ट्रेड और प्रभाग/कार्यशाला का चयन सावधानीपूर्वक भरना होगा। ऑनलाइन आवेदन का प्रिंटआउट भविष्य के संदर्भ के लिए रखा जाना चाहिए।

Selection Process: Selection will be based on merit, strictly on the percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate). There will be no written test or interview. A merit list will be prepared unit‑wise and trade‑wise. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification (DV) at the Headquarters of East Coast Railway, Bhubaneswar. Final selection is subject to verification of original documents, medical fitness, and adherence to all eligibility criteria.

चयन प्रक्रिया: चयन मेरिट पर आधारित होगा, जो मैट्रिक में प्राप्त अंकों के प्रतिशत (न्यूनतम 50% कुल) पर सख्ती से आधारित होगा। कोई लिखित परीक्षा या साक्षात्कार नहीं होगा। इकाई‑वार और ट्रेड‑वार मेरिट सूची बनाई जाएगी। शॉर्टलिस्ट किए गए उम्मीदवारों को ईस्ट कोस्ट रेलवे, भुवनेश्वर मुख्यालय में दस्तावेज़ सत्यापन (DV) के लिए बुलाया जाएगा। अंतिम चयन मूल दस्तावेजों के सत्यापन, चिकित्सा फिटनेस और सभी पात्रता मानदंडों के अनुपालन के अधीन है।

Stipend: Selected apprentices will be paid a monthly stipend at the prescribed rate as per extant rules. No hostel accommodation will be provided; apprentices must make their own arrangements. On completion of training, apprentices will be released and have no claim for employment in Railways.

वजीफा: चयनित अप्रेंटिसों को मौजूदा नियमों के अनुसार निर्धारित दर पर मासिक वजीफा दिया जाएगा। कोई छात्रावास सुविधा प्रदान नहीं की जाएगी; अप्रेंटिसों को अपनी व्यवस्था स्वयं करनी होगी। प्रशिक्षण पूरा होने पर अप्रेंटिसों को रिहा कर दिया जाएगा और रेलवे में नियोजन का कोई दावा नहीं होगा।
