The Government of India, Ministry of Defence, has issued an employment notice through the Station Headquarters (ECHS Cell), Jammu. The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) invites applications for various Medical, Para-Medical, and Non-Medical staff positions at the ECHS Polyclinic Jammu on a contractual basis.

The initial engagement is for a period of one year, renewable for an additional year or until the candidate reaches the maximum age limit, subject to performance and other conditions. Preference for these roles will be given to Ex-Servicemen.

Selected candidates are required to undergo 10 days of unpaid On the Job Training (OJT) and obtain a certificate from the OIC ECHS Polyclinic Jammu before signing the contract.

Application Process

Interested candidates should submit their applications in the prescribed format available on the official website www.echs.gov.in. The application must include self-attested photocopies of educational qualifications, work experience, a medical certificate signed by SEMO/CMO, and a character certificate or police verification.

Completed applications in duplicate must be dropped in the sealed Tender Box at the ECHS Polyclinic Jammu gate by 12 February 2026 (11:00 hrs). Late applications will not be accepted.

Interview Details

The interview is scheduled for 21 and 22 February 2026 at Station HQ Jammu. Candidates must arrive by 0830 hrs for the interviews held between 0845 hrs and 1400 hrs.

Candidates must bring original certificates, marks sheets (Matric, 10+2, Graduation/Diploma), work experience certificates, discharge books, PPOs, and two passport-size color photographs. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
