Apprenticeship Training under Apprentices Act 1961

Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for undergoing Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

EdCIL (India) Limited is a Mini Ratna Category-I Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The organization provides consultancy and management services in the education sector in India and abroad.

For the Apprenticeship Training Program 2026, EdCIL invites applications from Graduate candidates. Apprentices will be governed by the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and organizational rules.

Get verified by the concerned Regional Board and obtain a 16-digit enrolment number.
After receiving the enrolment number, apply online using the Google Form:

Educational Qualification

Only Indian Nationals who have completed full-time graduation in the specified disciplines, recognized by AICTE or UGC, on or after 01 April 2024, are eligible.

Mode of Selection

Selection will be conducted through Online Interview
Reservation for SC ST OBC candidates will be as per Government rules
In case of non-availability, vacancies may be filled from other categories

Eligibility Criteria

If applications exceed five times the vacancies, shortlisting will be based on graduation marks
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 25 years as on 19 January 2026
- Age relaxation:
  - SC ST – 5 years
  - OBC NCL – 3 years
  - PwBD – 10 years

General Instructions

Candidates must not have completed or be undergoing apprenticeship elsewhere
Final selection weightage:
- Academic Performance – 80 percent
- Interview – 20 percent
Number of vacancies may change without notice
Apprenticeship does not guarantee employment
Performance will be reviewed every three months
Award of certificate subject to satisfactory performance
