Eligibility conditions for various categories:
a. Assistant Professor (Engineering) : The candidates must possess B.E/B.Tech and Master’s degree in relevant branch with first class or equivalent either in B.E/B.Tech or
Masters Degree. Desirable: Ph.D. in the concerned subject.
c. Assistant Professor (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Humanities-Management):
b. Assistant Professor (T&P;The candidate must possess BEB.Tech and MBA with specialization in HR/ Marketing with first dass either in B.E/B.Tech or MBA.
Desirable: Minimum two years’ experience as Training & Placement Officer /Liaison Officer in any Private/Govt, organization. However, preference shall be given to a candi-
date having experience in Human Resource Management/Personnel Management in reputed industries
The candidates must possess Master ‘s degree in the relevant subjector its equivalent degree in agrade point scale wherevergrading system is followed, duly certifhed/noti-
fied by the concerned university in the relevant subjectwith minimum 55% marks (509%,in case of SC/ST/ differently abled) along with NET/SLET/SET conducted by the UGC
/CSIR/Association of University (AIU) or Ph.D. in the relevant subject.
d. Assistant Librarian:Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science or its equivalent degree in a grade point scale wherevergrading system is followed, duly certified/
notified by the concerned University with minimum 55% marks (50% in case of schedule Caste/ Schedule Tribe/differently-abled (Physical/ Visua) candidates
Note: Assistant Lecturer shall be onsidered only in case ofnon-availability of Assistant Professors

Selection Process: The Prindpal, Govt. College of Engineering and Technology Safapora, Ganderbal Kashmir shall arrange and conducta written/screening test for all the
eligible candidates, if required. However, the candidates with NETSLET/SET/Ph.D. are exempted from written/screening test. The selection of the candidates shall be made
by the Selection Committee strictly on the basis of merit list to be prepared. The applicants are advised to keep in touch with the office of the Prindpal, GCET Safapora for
