Available Disciplines & Basic Criteria:

Anatomy & Biochemistry: Open for Medical Persons (Senior Resident) holding MBBS with MD/DNB, and Non-Medical Persons (Demonstrator) possessing a Post-graduate Medical Degree (M.Sc. with Ph.D.) in the relevant subjects. Tutors can be considered in Biochemistry if postgraduate candidates are unavailable.
Clinical & Non-Clinical Specialities: Forensic Medicine, General Medicine, Microbiology, Radio-diagnosis, Radiotherapy, and Respiratory Medicine. Candidates require an MBBS with an MD or DNB in the concerned discipline from an NMC-recognized institution.
Age Thresholds: The maximum age limit for eligibility is 45 years. However, for the departments of Anatomy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Forensic Medicine, the upper limit is extended to 50 years for both in-service and non-PSC candidates.

• Selection criteria align with Government Order No. 383-JK(HME) of 2024 and Teachers Eligibility Qualifications, 2025. Candidates will be assessed based on an MCQ-based written test.
• Candidates who have already finished three years of Senior Residency or Demonstratorship anywhere are ineligible to apply.
• Non-In-Service academic arrangement appointees will receive stipends in accordance with S.O 364 of 2020, while In-Service doctors will be paid salaries according to their Last Pay Certificate (LPC) upon securing a proper No Objection Certificate (NOC).
