Subject: Manpower Required for Hospital Based Cancer Registry on Contractual basis consolidated Remuneration in Government Medical College, Jammu
Government Medical College, Jammu under HBCR-POCC Project, jointly undertaken by the regional Cancer Centre and Department of Community Medicine (P&SM) invites the applications on plain paper for recruitment of Research Scientist-I (Medical) on contractual basis for National Centre For Disease Informatics and Research, National Cancer Registry Programme (Indian Council of Medical Research) in the Regional Cancer Centre/ Community Medicine (P&SM),
Govt. Medical College Jammu. Cadre (Number)
Eligibility
a) Essential Qualification: MBBS Degree recognized by MCI from a recognized university.
b) Desirable Qualifications:
(i) MD/MS Degree in Medicine/ Surgery / P&SM/ Pathology/Radiotherapy Biochemistry/ Pharmacology from a recognized university.
(i) Additional Post-Doctoral Research/ Teaching experience in the relevant subjects in recognized institute(s).
(ii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
c) Job requirements: To develop programmes for research and training, plan undertake research on different aspects of Cancer to assist the Principal investigator and to work with other
scientists in conducting research in thrust areas.
Age limit: Not exceeding 35 years for Research Scientist-1. The application along-with all requisite documents/ formalities should reach in the office of Prof. & Head. Department of Community Medicine, (P&SM), Govt. Medical College, Jammu on or before 10.11.2023.
Terms & Conditions:
1. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
2. The Principal Investigator has the right to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason thereof and no correspondence/recommendation will be entertained in this matter. 3
. Qualification and experience should be in relevant discipline/field and from a reputed institu- tion/ organization recognised by relevant authority.
4. Experience shall be count from the date of completion of minimum education qualification. 5. Submission of incorrect or false information during the process of personal discuss shall dis- qualify the candidature at any stage.
6. No benefit of provident fund, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. will be considered since the posts are purely temporary basis.
7. The above posts are filled-up on purely on temporary basis, co-terminus with the project &
the candidate will have no right to claim for Permanent Employment under
NCDIR/NCRP/CMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project.
8. Those appearing for interview/personal discussion, he/she must bring all original certificates.
Candidates, who fail to bring the original certificates at the time of interview, will not be
allowed to attend the interview.
9. Date of interview shall be display on GMC Website (https://www.gmcjammu.nic.in). Individual call
letter will not be sent.
