Ph.D degree in Biochemistry/Clinical Biochemistry/ Biotechnology. Post Ph.D experience in a relevant field will be preferred.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

M.Sc degree in Biochemistry/Clinical Biochemistry/ Biotechnology with two year’s experience in the relevant field. In addition, he/she must have qualified NET/GATE.

Lab. Technician

B.Sc/M.Sc degree in Medical Lab. Technology or B.Sc/M. Sc degree in Biochemistry/Clinical Biochemistry.

Experience in the relevant field will be preferred.

Terms & Conditions:-

1) The contractual engagement is not being made against any substantive post and as such won’t confer any right upon the hired persons for regular/permanent ap- pointment The contractual engagee shall have to furnish an affidavit duly attested by the 1″ Class Judicial Magistrate to the effect that he/she will not claim for reg- ular appointment nor will he/she claim continuation in the Department beyond expiry of project/exhaustion of funds at any future date on the strength of this contractual engagement.

2) The engagement will be initially made for one year only, or till continuation of the scheme whichever is earlier and will be extended on yearly basis subject to the satis- factory performance of the candidate/approval of the competent authority and:

a) Availability of Budget;

b) Continuation of this scheme.

3) If a contractual engagee at any point of time willfully neglects or refuses to per- form his/her assigned duties engagement shall be terminated forthwith without any notice and he/she shall not be entitled to any salary for such period.

4) Only candidates having valid registration of their Degree certificates can partici-

pate in the selection process. 5) The selected candidates have to work as per the job assigned under the above referred scheme.

Note:

The candidates must be in possession of all requisite certificates/documents in original

and no document/certificate issued beyond the cutoff date shall be accepted/

entertained. b) The maximum age of the applicants for the position of Research Associate (RA) must not be more than 40 years in respect of male candidates and 45 years in re-

spect of female candidates at the time of submission of the application forms. The

maximum age of the applicants for the positions of Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

and Lab. Technician must not be more than 35 years at the time of submission of

the application forms. c) In case of large number of applications for the above positions, the candidates will be shortlisted for the interview/written test in accordance with the number of

positions/availability of space.
