Aplications are invited from the eligible candidates for engagement as Assistant Professors/Assistant Lecturers on Academic Amangement (AA) on need

Eligibility conditions for various categories
aAssistant Professors (AA): Engineering
The candidates must possess B.E/B.Tech and Masters degreein relevant branch with first class or equivalent either in B.E/B.Tech or Masters Degree. Desirable: Ph.Din the concened subject.
bJAssistant Professor (AA):18P
The candidate must possess BE/B.lech and MBA with specialization in HR/ Marketing with fiust dlass either in B.E/ B.Tech or MBA.
Desirable: Minimum two years experience as Training & Placement Officer / Liaison Officer in any Private/ Govt, organization. However, preference shall be given to a candidate having
experience in Human Resource Management/ Personnel Management in reputed industries.
CAsistant Professors (AA): (Physics, Mathematics and Humanities-Management)
The candidates must possess Masters degree in the relevant subject or its equivalent degree in a grade point scale wherever grading system is followed, duly certified/notified by the concemed
university, in the relevant subject with minimum 559% marks (509%,in case of SC/ST / differently abled) alongwith NET/SLET/SET conducted by the UGC/CSIR/Association of University (A|IU) or
Ph.Din the relevant subject.
In case of the Ph.D/NET/SLET/SET candidates are not available, the following teaching faculty may be engaged purely on need basis.
d) Assistant Lecturers (AA): (Physics, Mathematics and Humanities Management)
Ihe candidates must possess Masters degree in the relevant subject or its equivalent degree in a grade point scale wherever grading system is followed, duly certifñed/notifñed
by the concerned university, in the relevant subject with minimum 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/differently abled).
Selection Process
Ihe Prindipal, Govt. College of Engineering and lechnology, Jammu shll arange and conduct a writen/screening test for llthe eligible candidates, f required. However, the
candidates with NET/SLET/SET/Ph.D are exempted from written/screening test. The selection ofthe candidates shall be made by the Selection Committee strictly on the basis of Merit list to be
prepared. The applicants are advised to keep in touch with the office of the Registrar, GCET, Jammu, for further information.
Selection Criteria
The selection criteria for Non-Engineering Streams will be as per the Govt. Order No. 46-JK(HE) of 2022 dated 28.02.2022.
